Croppin' in the OC? You Should Be!
Crops2Remember Fall Weekend Crop
November 7-9, 2008
Staybridge Suites
2 Orchard
Lake Forest, CA 92630
We'll be cropping at the
Staybridge Suites in Lake Forest
... a gorgeous hotel that just
opened in 2006!
1.  Do guests share beds? Do we get our own bed?

Yes or no - your choice. The two-bedroom suites for the basic crop fee ($275) has one bedroom with
one queen-sized bed, and a second bedroom with two queen-sized beds. There is also a fold-out
couch in the living area, but the mattress is not your standard sofa mattress. It is actually very nice. We,
the organizers,  would sleep on the fold out bed, so we feel comfortable offering it to others. In April, we
also had best friends and family members share beds. We assign rooms in groups and allow the
suite mates decide who sleeps where. By request, a one-room suite (double occupancy) or studio
room (single occupancy) is available for a higher crop fee, which is listed above.

2. Do we have to have a group of four croppers?  No.

3. What if I don't have a roommate? Do I have to pay the higher crop fee? No. There are often
"singletons" who come to C2R crops. We will put you in a two-room suite with three other ladies, who
might be "singletons" themselves. Bedroom assignments can be worked out later among the group.

4.  If there are only 2 of us do we share a room with strangers? A two-room suite, yes, but a
bedroom, no. The bedrooms have locks on them and each has its own full bathroom and closet area.
A living room and kitchen common area are shared.

5.  How many scrappers do you accommodate?  Do we scrap in a conference room or in our
private rooms?
We can accommodate 24 scrapbookers in the main conference room, or "Sorority
House," and then 8-10 more in the smaller conference room, or "Library" down the hall. In the Library,
croppers will not be interrupted with presentations, contests or anything more than the occasional
delivery of a raffle prize. The Library croppers will receive announcements as to when activities are
taking place, so they can participate if they wish, but the activities will all take place in the Sorority
House or hotel common area. Seats in each room are, of course, limited, and will be assigned in a
first come, first served basis.

6.  What type of meals do you serve for dinner and lunch?  While we do not have the menu planned
yet for April 2008, in the past we served Togos sandwiches, lasagna, Charo chicken salad, Pizza Hut
pizza and a cold cut tray. Plus, snacks, soda, water and coffee all day long. A breakfast buffet (not
continental) is served by the hotel each morning until 10:30 a.m.
